Health information

Worming advice - We strongly recommend worming adult dogs & cats at least every 3 months - for the animals well being & for public health reasons. The number of reported cases of lungworm (Angiostrongylus vasorum) is on the increase in dogs & can often cause very serious disease - currently there are only 2 licensed products to treat/prevent this worm disease.    

Flea advice - Fleas can cause hypersensitivity reactions in cats & dogs , & are a common cause of skin disease. We have many effective & safe products for control of fleas, please contact us for advice. Fleas can also lead to tapeworm infections in cats & dogs.

Allergies & Atopic dermatitis - Allergies are a very common cause of skin disease in dogs & cats.
