Health information

Worming

We strongly recommend worming adult dogs and cats at least every 3 months - for the animals wellbeing and for public health reasons. The number of reported cases of lungworm (Angiostrongylus vasorum) is on the increase in dogs and can often cause very serious disease - currently there are only 2 licensed products to treat/prevent this worm disease.

Fleas

Fleas can cause hypersensitivity reactions in cats and dogs and are a common cause of skin disease. We have many effective and safe products for control of fleas, please contact us for advice. Fleas can also lead to tapeworm infections in cats and dogs.

Allergies

Allergies are a very common cause of skin disease in dogs and cats, including atopic dermatitis.
